Jennifer Parks
Center Director and Vision Therapist, Jennifer Parks, has many years of experience in the eye care field. She is an American Optometric Association certified Para-Optometric Technician and is a member of the COVD (College of Optometrists in Vision Development). Jennifer has attended many continuing education courses over the years and has subsequently acquired a vast knowledge of State and Federal Laws concerning the educational rights of students. She became Director of the Visual Performance Center in 2005 and has worked diligently to help Parents navigate the school system.
Deborah Doyle
Vision Therapist, Deborah Doyle has been with VPC since 2006. She is a member of COVD and has attended many educational courses offered by the COVD and their affiliates. Deborah is a board certified Optician and has worked with several Optometrists in the area over the years. Deborah brings a working knowledge of how early development can affect the visual skills necessary for efficient learning and, how to apply newly acquired skills in the classroom.
Support Doctors
The Visual Performance Center was formed by a group of optometrists, to offer their patients and others in the Tennessee Valley the support they need to achieve their fullest potential in all aspects of their lifestyle.
Dr. David Lee, O.D.
Dr. Lee started practicing in 1988. He attended the University of Alabama School of Optometry Doctor of Optometry.
